Emantes – International Lgbtqia + Solidarity wishes to provide food for Lgbtqia +refugees residing in Athens. Food provision is deemed necessary in Emantes. Over 90% of the people we support are food insecure. Over 70% of the people reaching for help to Emantes WhatsApp Support line ask for food provision.

Emántes means “we” in “kaliarda”, the first Greek lgbtqia community slang which has always been marginalized.
“We” is a response to what the “others” always symbolize and a bet for “us, the others” to be heard.
